RAGBREW – Bicycle Ride & Homebrew Contest – Sunday, October 9th

Calling all Home-Brewers,  Beer Lovers, and Bicyclists!  Sunday, October 9th will be the 1st Annual RAGBREW – A HomeBrew Contest & Bicycle Ride right in our back yard!

THE CONTEST will be held from 2 to 5 PM at the Izaak Walton right off the Wabash Trace (or about 5 miles East of Shenandoah on Highway 2).  Contestants are asked to bring a 5 gallon keg  or 2 cases of bottles of their homebrew(s) as their entry fee.  There will be a fee of $15 for entry to the Izaak Walton which will cover your sampling and a collector’s RAGBREW Pint Glass, as well as 4 voting ballots so you can cast your vote for the People’s Choice.  Awards will be given in the following categories:  Light Ales & Lagers, Dark Ales & Lagers, Specialty Beers, and People’s Choice.

THE BIKE RIDE  will meet at the Depot Deli in Shenandoah for breakfast at 10 AM.  After eating (approximately 11 AM), we will head South on the Wabash Trace and ride to the Tarkio Creek Bridge for a break, and then back North, stopping at the Izaak Walton for the Contest before heading back to Shenandoah!
